LAKE CITY - The South Hamilton volleyball team dropped four of six matches and slipped to 3-6 overall on the season here on Saturday during the South Central Calhoun Invitational.

But they had no answers in straight sets losses to Manson-Northwest Webster (21-15, 21-16), South Central Calhoun (21-15, 21-11), Des Moines Christian (21-11, 21-8), and Audubon (21-19, 23-21).

Sarah Rudy slapped 19 kills in the six-match series to lead the Hawks offensively. Eliana Lowry hammered 18 kills and Tiffany Jacobson laced 14.

Jacobson was also strong defensively at net with 23 blocks. Savanah Stangeland collected 19 and Lowry had 14.

Libero Hannah Pulis came up with 37 digs, more than double the total of teammate Shea VanLangen (18). Rudy had 16.
