Demolition of the Pilot Flying J Travel Center near Williams began on Monday. By early afternoon the building was a pile of rubble while workers assessed how to tear down the Flying J sign. A new travel center will be built at the junction of Interstate 35 and County Highway D25 west of Williams and is expected to open in December.
