The Saturday evening Points Championship races at the Hamilton County Speedway were postponed due to the much needed rain in the area.
Track officials have rescheduled the race to Monday with hot laps beginning at 7 p.m. The later start time is to allow racers and fans time to get to the track after work on Monday.
Several special events are planned for the evening. The traditional Kids' Night activities will include a drawing for six bikes donated by The Trashman along with the nickel and candy scramble, which will be held near the Grandstand area this year.
During a short intermission, the Hamilton County Speedway Racing Association will induct four new members to their Hall of Fame.
Friends and families of Jerry Dixon have contributed additional purse money for the Jerry Dixon Memorial Hobby Stock race. The Gerald Seiser Memorial Stock Car race will also be held with his family adding to the winner's purse.
Features will be lined up by points with the top inverted according officials. Due to time constraints, there will not be any B-Main features. Only 24 cars will start each feature race.
This is the final race of the season at the Hamilton County Speedway. Three class champions will decided by the points received in this final night of racing.
Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for Seniors, $5 for ages 13 to 17, and 12 and under are admitted free with a paying adult. Fair POP passes will be honored for this race.
