STANHOPE?- Vikings and Vikingettes from the former Stanhope High School converged on Stanhope Friday evening to reconnect and reminisce at the annual Stanhope alumni Banquet. Held at the Stanhope community center, the banquet attracted about 170 from a wide area.
It has been fifty years since the last class graduated from SHS before the school was consolidated into the South Hamilton Community School district. There were 20 in the class of 1962, with 13 of them attending the banquet. Three are deceased.
