To the Editor:
I remember our parents and others working diligently to get Congregate Meals established. It has been a secure place for our elderly. Now, it should be our inheritance.
We have to stand up for what is right. To be available to the needs of our city. Our elderly need a haven of rest and fellowship.
Congregate Meals is a landmark we do not want to lose. We need a peace as we grow older. Some are fearful of where their next meal will come. We desire more joy in our lives, rejuvenation and victorius live. Through Congregate Meals, this can be one of our sources. We do not want to lose it.
May our town work together.
We invite more seniors to come and join us at Congregate Meals. Will you, please?
