Queen Kylee to reign

Kylee King crowned 2012 Hamilton County Fair queen

July 26, 2012
The Daily Freeman Journal

Kylee King, from Duncombe, the 18 year-old daughter of Carl and Shannon King, was crowned the Hamilton County Fair Queen Wednesday night during a coronation ceremony held in the new multipurpose show arena.

The ceremony, originally set for 7 p.m., was delayed due to the heat until 8:30 p.m. Severe thunderstorm warnings then drove the event inside to the new show arena from the grandstand.

King, a 2012 Webster City High School graduate, has been active in FFA and 4-H throughout her school career. She plans to attend the University of Northern Iowa this fall.
