Van Diest Medical Center will offer the American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support course for students in nursing and other healthcare professions.
It will be held Aug. 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the cafeteria conference rooms 1 and 2. Vicki Roby, RN, an American Heart Association instructor will teach the course.
The fee for the course is $30, which includes the certification card. The class size is limited to six students.
