The 40th annual Iowa Shrine Bowl football game is scheduled for Saturday night at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames.
Kickoff will take place at 7 p.m.
A total of 92 of the premier senior prep players in the state will be on the field Saturday, as again the North Squad will take on the South Squad for bragging rights, and they will be joined by 60 cheerleaders that were selected to take part.
Webster City will be represented by defensive back Jonny Davis - a multiple-time Class 3A all-district pick who helped the Lynx reach the second round of the state playoffs last fall. Also a spinback for WCHS, Davis became the first player in school history to rush and pass for 1,000 yards in a single season during his senior campaign.
Don Anderson, of North Iowa Buffalo Center, will coach the North Squad, while the South will take direction from Brian Albert, of Glenwood.
Tickets are available in advance for $10, or at the gate for $15. Children under 6 years of age will be admitted for free.
