Don and Opal Doolittle, of Webster City, will be celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary on July 21, 2012.
Donald Francis Doolittle and Opal Josephine Carpenter were married July 21, 1942, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Their children are Dennis (Pam) Doolittle and Royal Doolittle, all of Webster City. They couple also have seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
