Melvin Howard Hill, 85, died at Tucker Hospice House June 29, 2012. A memorial service will held at 1 p.m. July 7, at Wilkinson Funeral Home chapel. His grandson, the Rev. Drew Hill, will officiate. He will be laid to rest at the National Cemetery in Salisbury with military honors. Mr. Hill was born Dec. 27, 1926 in Webster City, where he also attended school.
