The annual Hamilton County Cub Scout Fun Days were held at Briggs Woods Park this past weekend, with this year's theme being "Cubs, Critters and Crawly Things." Approximately 30 area Cub Scouts came out to participate in nine different stations, including: fishing, archery, target shooting BB guns, woodworking, water balloon launching, water rockets, dissecting owl pellets, creating Snakes Alive T-shirts, learning about soccer, hiking and making animal track castings. According to officials, it was a fun-filled two days, despite the heat. The camp is made possible, in part, from the Scouts annual pop can drive.
Sean Carver enjoyed his handmade ice cream. Scouts each created their own ziplock bag of ice cream after lunch both days. Sean celebrated his birthday while at the camp on Saturday.
