A ‘cool’ day at the depot

June 29, 2012
The Daily Freeman Journal
Although temperatures were in the 90's, 25 Riverview Day Care kids thought the Wilson Brewer Park complex was 'cool' on Thursday. Along with five teachers, they toured the Depot Museum where they all received a Native American name and learned about the many uses for aprons. After spending time in the Harmony Center School and seeing how children learned in the past, they went outside in the shade and played some old-time games together. For information about group tours of the complex, call 297-0273.
