Trojans dropped by GMG, losing skid reaches 7
GREEN MOUNTAIN - The Northeast Hamilton baseball team was limited to just two hits in a 7-1 loss to Green Mountain Garwin in an Iowa Star Conference contest here last night.
GMG (3-14, 3-7 ISC) tagged Trojans' starting pitcher Logan Seiser for five runs in the initial two innings to take command for good.
NEH (3-15, 2-9 ISC), which has dropped seven straight games, scored its only run in the second inning, as Gabe Rapp raced to the plate on a throwing error. Rapp had one of the team's two hits, a single.
Andy Pate also laced a base knock.

GREEN MOUNTAIN - Northeast Hamilton was unable to cash in on two bases-loaded chances, including one in the eighth inning, in a 3-2 loss to Iowa Star Conference rival Green Mountain Garwin here last night.
GMG (5-12, 5-6 ISC) touched Trojets' pitcher Molly Greenfield for seven hits and two earned runs. She walked two and fanned five.
NEH (3-17, 1-8 ISC) scored both of its runs in the second inning. Jennifer Jeffers roped an RBI single in the frame, and the second run crossed the dish on a Wolverines' throwing error.
Greenfield, Leah Meyer and Andi Anderson also had base hits in the loss.
