STANHOPE - A benefit for Deana Madden Williams will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday at the Stanhope City Park. A picnic lunch of rodeo beefburgers, hot dogs, beans, chips, lemonade, pie, ice cream and bars will be served. The lunch will be available for a free will donation.
Williams was injured in a horse accident in May and has been in the hospital for several weeks. All proceeds raised will go to the family to help with expenses.
A raffle drawing will be held every half hour. Tickets are $1 or 6 for $5. Many prizes have been donated by area businesses and citizens.
