DES MOINES - Recognition for outstanding academic achievement has been given to the following Grand View University students from the Hamilton County area for the 2012 spring semester.
Laura Read, of Stanhope, was named to the dean's list.
Samantha Groehn, of Jewell, was named to the president's list.
The students are named to the dean's list for earning a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying at least 12 hours of classes. The students are named to the president's list for earning a grade point average of 4.0 while carrying at least 12 hours of classes.
