DES MOINES - Nicole Baker has been selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Iowa Motor Carriers Foundation. The Iowa Motor Carriers Foundation is a division of the Iowa Motor Truck Association and has been rewarding scholarships since 1986 to Iowans pursuing an advanced degree at an Iowa college or university. This year the foundation awarded 11 - $1,000 scholarships.
Baker is the recipient of the Darryl Mason Memorial. The scholarship was established in the memory of the late Darryl Mason set up by his family and friends. He was a supporter of the IMTA?and a volunteer, participant and champion of the Truck Driving Championships. He was a long-time employee of Green Products Company.
