Middle school youth are invited to take part in a service-learning project called "Public Adventures." Youth will learn what it means to be an active leader and citizen in a democracy. Connect with other kids, share talents, help the community and earn $50. The ten sessions are weekday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon, July 9 through July 20, at the All Cultures Equal building. Call Leslie Kauffman at 832-4153 with questions or to sign up. Parents must pre-register their kids. The group size is limited to 10 and is available for fifth- through eighth-grade students.
