A Humboldt man was killed in a motorcycle accident Sunday morning north of Stratford.
Mark Hart, 55, Humboldt, was traveling south on Hamilton County Road R-21 about 11:30 a.m. Sunday when the rear tire of his 1993 Honda motorcycle blew out. The motorcycle entered the ditch and rolled. Hart was transported by the Stratford Ambulance to Van Diest Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The accident was investigated by the Iowa State Patrol with assistance from the Hamilton County Sheriff's department and Stratford EMS.
