OGDEN - The South Hamilton girls' and boys' track teams combined to win four events and hoard 11 medals on Monday at the Ogden Coed Relays.
The Hawk boys captured three gold medals and tallied 75 points to place fourth in the team standings. Gilbert (105), West Marshall (98) and Jefferson-Scranton (81) filled the top three spots.
Josh Doering and Devin Howard were individual winners. Doering claimed the top prize in the 110-meter high hurdles in 17.62 seconds, while Howard continued his season-long string of success in the 100-meter dash in 12.11.
Howard, Kyle Lucas, Lane Heinlein and Triston Twedt banded together to win the 4x100 relay (45.54).
Twedt was also second in the 400 low hurdles (58.14) and third in the open 400 (53.50). Howard took second in the 200 (23.72) and third in the long jump (20 feet, 5 inches). The shuttle hurdle relay - Twedt, Doering, Lucas and Chris Jacobson - claimed the silver (1:04.42).
The South Hamilton girls' team received top billing for its 4x800. The quartet of Kayla Monthei, Eliana Lowry, Meghan Fisher and Alyson Fisher ran together for the first time this season and bested the competition in 10:41.85.
