Berniece Ione Shaeffer, 98, of Boone, passed away April 20. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Bass Point Cemetery, North of Boone. Visitation will be held on Monday at the Walter ~ Schroeder Funeral Home located at Fifth and Story Streets in Boone from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
