The City Council of Webster City will once again look at fees and regulations for the upcoming RAGBRAI?overnight event on July 24. The City Council will meet tonight 5 p.m. at City Hall.
Last Monday, council members voted 3 to 2 against approving the fee structure and proposed regulations, saying they hadn't had time to review the information, nor had the public.
City Attorney Gary Groves had questions on the enforcibility of one section of the proposed resolution, suggesting that an ordinance may be a better route to go.
Tonight, the council will have the first reading of an ordinance pertaining to the fees and regulations for the overnight stay by RAGBRAI. The RAGBRAI?budget is also on the agenda.
Following the business items, the council will have a work session on sewer rates.
