Marjorie Mason Blackwelder, age 95, died on Sunday, April 15, 2012 in Beavercreek, Ohio. She was born July 13, 1916 in Webster City, the daughter of Earl and Florence (Woolston) Mason. She was a member of a pioneering family; her grandfather, Bridgeman Cadman Mason, was the first white child born in Hamilton County. She retained an affection for and a connection to Webster City throughout her life, visiting her friends there regularly until her late 80's. Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, her husband (William P. Blackwelder) and her brother Bradford (a Best Ever Knight). She is survived by her children Sara Karstetter (Kent) and Paul (Judith) and by two grandchildren (Eric and Katherine Karstetter).
