Lynx girls drop dual to Hampton-Dumont

HAMPTON - The Webster City girls' golf team dropped its second straight North Central Conference meet Friday afternoon at the Hampton Country Club.

Host Hampton-Dumont relied on medalist Alexis Bolerjack and runner-up Madison Sietsema to set the pace, as the Bulldogs fired a 198 to easily top the Lynx, who shot a 267.

Bolerjack carded a 45 to prevail over Sietsema (47) by two shots.

Senior Maddy Miller led Webster City with a 53. Her round featured a par at the par-3, 130-yard third hole.

Maricruz Arriola (66), Megan Gilbert (69) and Shannon Swon (79) also contributed to the Lynx team total.
