Celebrate Library Week at KYL

April 11, 2012
The Daily Freeman Journal

To the Editor:

This week, people across the country are celebrating National Library Week, a time to remind ourselves of the contributions libraries and library workers make to their communities every day. This year's theme is "You Belong @ Your Library" and it is true - you DO belong at Kendall Young Library. Whether you want free activities for children and teens, help in finding your next favorite book, a great selection of DVDs and magazines, resources to land a new job, free internet and Wi-Fi, or just some time to relax in a beautiful environment, you will find all that and so much more at your library.

In addition to all we offer in our wonderful library building, Kendall Young Library has great resources available online at our website: www.kendall-young.lib.ia.us. With your library card in hand, you can access these resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from any computer or device with an Internet connection. From our website, you can view our calendar of events or search our online catalog and reserve books and movies. You can also explore our excellent databases to learn a foreign language, research your family history, find book suggestions, or get engine repair information. Looking for eBooks? We've got them. With our NEIBORS program, you can check out and download Ebooks and audiobooks, for free, onto your eReader, tablet, smartphone, computer or other device. We also have interactive eBooks for kids through our Tumblebooks links.

Please stop in to Kendall Young Library today. We would love to see you and share all of the exciting things that are happening @ your library.
