The annual Friends of St. Thomas Ball will soon be here and officials with the committee organizing the event said tickets are now on sale.
The evening, which features food, games, a live and silent auction and a live band, will be held April 21 beginning at 6 p.m. in the St. Thomas Parish Center. The annual ball is the only fundraiser held for the school, committee members said. Tickets to the ball are $35.
A drawing will be held at the end of the evening with the top prize of a $10,000 shopping spree at Gilbert Jewelers, or $10,000 in cash. Second prize is a 55-inch HDTV with surround sound and BluRay player. Third prize is a $1,000 in Scrip gift cards. Raffle tickets are $50 each or 3 for $125.

In addition, a raffle is being held for one-year's free tuition at the school. Those raffle tickets are $10 each, according to organizers.
A silent auction will be held throughout the evening and those in attendance will be able to place bids on the a variety of items and services offered. The silent auction is held in the lower level of the education building.
The live auction will be held in the gym area and will feature baskets assembled by the students attending St. Thomas, as well as baskets created by the teachers, the board of education and others.
