Editor's note: The following letter was written by second grade students at St. Thomas School.
To the editor:
We are writing this letter about a dog park.
Dogs need someplace to play. There could be a basketball hoop for people. In my neighborhood, I see dogs running around my yard, playing with other dogs. The dogs could get run over in the road. There will be dog food there for the dogs so the dogs will not get in your garbage. They need someplace to play.
