With the release Sunday of the official RAGBRAI route through the state, Hamilton County residents learned that the bike riders will pass through Several area communities as well as stopping overnight in Webster City.
The route will take riders through Dayton, Stratford and Lehigh - known to participants as the Karras Loop - before arriving in Webster City, and through Kamrar and Jewell the next morning on their way to Marshalltown. The stops in pass-through communities are an important opportunity to showcase small town life in Iowa, draw in revenue and create a lasting memory for riders from all over the world.
The Daily Freeman-Journal congratulates all of the Hamilton County communities who will have an opportunity to shine as RAGBRAI passes through this July.
