Mr. Neal L. Vulgamott, 81, a resident of Princeton MO. Died Thursday morning March 01, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital, Kansas City.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 4, 2012 at 1:30 P.M. at Slater Funeral Home Trenton, MO with Richard Smith officiating. The body will be cremated after the service.
Family visitation was held at Slater Funeral Home on Saturday from 6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.
Mr. Neal L. Vulgamott, was born Sept. 5, 1930 in Webster City, Iowa, the son of Samuel Harold and Verna Davis Vulgamott. He graduated from Webster City, Iowa. Before retiring Neal was employed as Diesel Mechanic for Ruan Transportation Co. of Des Moines, Iowa.
He was veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Navy and member of the Princeton Post of V.F.W.
He was a member of Corner Stone Fellowship Church in Trenton.
On Dec. 22, 1951 he was married to Ruby E. McFarland at Webster City, Iowa. She preceded him death on June 19.2002.
Then on July 2, 2005 he was married to Patricia A. Covey at Spickard, Missouri.
His survivors include his wife Patricia of the home. Three daughters Vivian Versteeg of Oxnard, Calif., Reba Elifritze and husband Mike of Lineville, Iowa, and Cindy Boatright and husband Danny of Hartford, Iowa. Two sons Leslie Vulgamott and wife Shelia of Elkhart, Iowa and Davy Vulgamott and wife Kim of Lineville, Iowa. Two sisters Norma Bailey of Webster City, Iowa and Nola Ranier of Duncombe, Iowa. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Samuel Vulgamott, his mother Verna Vulgamott, one sister Shirley Burton, Three brothers Vern Vulgamott, Gene Vulgamott, and Ray Vulgamott.
