To the Editor:
If you are fortunate enough to be the parent of any of the boys and girls who were in the play "The Bachelor King,"?please give yourselves a good pat on the back for an outstanding job.
My husband and I had the honor of sharing about two hours with them at a pre-finale cast party in our home on Feb. 24. Our granddaughter, Michaela Dora, stood at the door and introduced all the cast members to us. As they entered, the wet, muddy shoes came off at the door (not at our request, just their own consideration)?and their coats were hung.
The visit began with their planning session for their pizza supper, which they had already collected money for.
Michaela's parents, John and Lynn Farrington, stocked the chocolate fountain bar which was an initial gathering point, followed by Play Station 3 games. Card tables, places just to sit and converse, and the pool table were enjoyed.
They were at all times courteous to us and to each other. Their conduct was a credit to you and to themselves. As showtime approached, the departure was orderly, neat and mature with expressions of "thank you for the use of your home" and "it was fun."
The pleasure was all mine.
