Elizabeth Pruismann, 77, of Webster City, died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Michael Willer officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be a the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center one hour before the service.
Elizabeth Sue Essig, daughter of John and Susan Seiser Essig, was born May 3, 1934 at Webster City. She attended Webster City schools and graduated from Lincoln High in 1952. In 1955, she married F. John Pruismann at Webster City. The couple farmed near Webster City. They were later divorced. She had worked at Hahne Printing, I.S.U. Memorial Union at Ames and at Iowa Central Industries at Fort Dodge.
Mrs. Pruismann is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Monte Coleman; granddaughters, Erin (Jules) Pinkele and Chelsea Coleman, all of Webster City; great-grandchildren, Dylan Adams and Lillie Coleman; sisters, Dorothy Kennedy of Fort Dodge; Alice (Gary) Hayes of Webster City; brother, Edward (Cris) Essig of Fort Dodge; nieces and nephews, Dennis (Sharon) Essig; Dan Essig; Brad (Pam) Hayes; Rick Essig and Steven (Amber) Essig.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Richard Essig; brother-in-law, Lee Kennedy; nephew, Scotty Hayes; nieces, Cheri and Shelly Hayes.
She enjoyed painting, crafts and making greeting cards. She also loved spending time with her family,especially her grandchildren.
