Fallon and Jon Sogard, of Jewell, are the parents of a son, Max Arthur Sogard, born Dec. 11, 2011, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. He weighed 7 lbs., 11 oz.
Grandparents are Mike and Marj Majors, Webster City; Jim and the late Jeanie McCollough, Stanhope; Bruce Sogard, Leland; and Julee and Tim Lund, Jewell.
