Max and Elsie Smith, of Webster City, will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on Dec. 1.
Max Smith and Elsie Thompson were married on Dec. 1, 1946, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth.
They have two children: Brent (Kris) Smith, of Goldfield, and Marilyn (John) Middleton, of Webster City. The couple have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
