Bill Sanford, of Ellsworth, celebrated his 70th birthday on Sept. 18. He was born in Algona on Sept. 18, 1941.
His family will be holding a birthday celebration in his honor on Sunday, Oct. 2 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Ellsworth City Park Shelter House, and invite friends, family and neighbors to share in the celebration.
Bill, along with wife Cheryl, have four children: Mike Sanford of Cambridge, Minn.; Rhonda (Tony) Nelson, of Ames; Candice (Marvin) Hobbs, of Fountain, Minn.; and Jason (Cheri) Sanford of Ogden, Utah. They have 15 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
