Rampage appreciate support

September 9, 2011
The Daily Freeman Journal

To the editor:

On behalf of the Midwest Rampage board of directors, coaches, and players, we would like to thank Webster City and all surrounding communities for their tremendous support of our Minor League football team. The backing we have received from businesses, sponsors, and fans is unprecedented in Minor League football and without it our 7-4 record and the opportunity to play for the MFA championship this past season would not have been possible; all of our players and coaches are truly appreciative of your support and their dream of playing football would not be a reality without all of you.

The Rampage would also like to thank all of our feature sponsors for 2011 and give special thanks to the Hotel/Motel Tax Board and Peterson Construction for improving the Rampage's home field, located inside the Bob Buckley Track at Webster City High School, with the new goal posts. This improvement in appearance and safety not only benefited the Rampage but also will serve the Youth Sports Foundation's fifth- and sixth-grade football program. Finally, we would like to express our gratitude towards the Webster City Community School District for allowing the Rampage to use the high school facilities.

All of the support and help the Rampage have received the past two seasons has truly made Webster City and the surrounding communities "Rampage Country."

Team president/CEO
