Bob and Nathalie Burns, of Webster City, will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Sept. 2.
Bob Burns and Nathalie Hoversten were married on Sept. 2, 1961, at First Methodist Church in Dows.
They have one child, Norma (Corey) Orton, of Olathe, Kan. The couple has two grandchildren.

They spent several years in Nebraska City, Neb. and LeMars, before returning to Webster City for retirement.
The couple will be having a barbecue celebration with family and friends at noon on Sept. 5 at the Barn at Briggs Woods Park in Webster City.
