AMES - The Iowa State Center announces the appointment of two new marketing department staff members. Both are 2011 graduates of Iowa State University, and are Webster City natives.
Lisa Maubach has been named advertising & promotions coordinator for SMG at the Iowa State Center.
Her responsibilities include planning and executing media campaigns for all performing arts performances and concerts, negotiating paid and trade media placements and exploring new media opportunities to diversify Iowa State Center's marketing mix.
She received her B.S. degree in marketing as a finance major from Iowa State University.
Joshua Larson has been named online media specialist for SMG at The Iowa State Center.
His responsibilities include editing the performing arts and concerts content and messages on various digital media channels including a redesigned website at center.iastate.edu, a new iPhone mobile application and Stephens Auditorium Facebook page and Twitter feed. He also provides input on future development of features and functionality for these digital channels.
He received his B.S. degree in journalism and mass communications as an electronics media major, as well as a B.A. degree in hispanic studies from Iowa State University.
