Luverne and Verna Bierle, of Webster City, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 11.
Luverne Bierle and Verna Orth were married Aug. 11, 1961, at Petersburg Congregational Church in Lesterville, SD.
The couple will celebrate with an open house for family and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 14 at First Congregational Church in Webster City.
