Nelson, Wibholm

Jennifer Kristine Wibholm and Grant Allen Nelson, of Webster City, were united in marriage on April 9, 2011, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City.

The bride is the daughter of Ole and Becky Wibholm, of Blairsburg. The groom is the son of Doug and Deb Nelson, of Webster City.

The Rev. Tony D. Ede officiated the ceremony.

The wedding site was decorated with a few small flower arrangements by friends and family.

The organist was Rosine Kennedy and the soloist was Jenae Kennedy. The bridal party walked into the church to "Canon in D." The bride walked to "Trumpet Voluntary," the unity candle was let with "When You Say Nothing At All," and the recessional was to "Trumpet Tune."

The bride wore a strapless dress with a rounded dropped waistline. It had beaded lace with paisley motifs on the lower part of the bodice, hemline and semi-cathedral train. The color was ivory/champagne and the fabric was silky satin. It had a full skirt with a double box pleat at the center back and two more pleats on each side. An extra layer of organza at the hemline and a scalloped edge hem, along with a contrasting bow at the waist. Her flowers were calla lilies, asiatic lilies, small purple spray flowers in a blue ribbon wrapped bouquet.

The matron of honor was Sarah Anderson, of Jewell. Bridesmaids were Steph Kruger, of Webster City; Lindsay Wibholm, of Stratford; Anne Doolittle-Cheyne, of Webster City; and Lauren Devries, of Des Moines. The flower girl was Kayley Wibholm, of Stratford.

Bridesmaids wore black sleeveless tea-length dresses, and the flower girl wore a light blue dress with tieback bow.

The best man was Jesse Huber, of Webster City. Groomsmen were Leonard Fortune, of Webster City; Chuck Crane, of Webster City; Nick Getting, of Williams; and Chris Hanus, of Blairsburg. Ring bearers were Aaron Anderson and Jacob Anderson, both of Jewell, and Jayden Wibholm, of Stratford.

Ushers were Doug Wibholm, of Ames; Erik Wibholm, of Stratford; and Nathan Anderson, of Jewell.

The reception was held at the Williams Gym and was decorated as a garden party - with several different kinds of flowers and vases.

The host and hostesses were Mark and Margaret Hoelscher, of Williams, and Ken and Kathy Getting, of Williams.

Wibholm is a 2003 graduate of Northeast Hamilton High School, and the Iowa Central Community College Nursing Program. She is currently employed by Webster City Medical Clinic.

Nelson is a 2002 graduate of Webster City High School, and the Iowa Central Community College Electrician Program. He is currently employed by Van Diest Supply Company.
