Michele Leah Anderegg and Kurt Ellis Veldhuizen, of Blairsburg, were united in marriage on July 9, 2011, at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds in Webster City. The Rev. Tony D. Ede officiated the ceremony.
The bride's parents are Jim and Joleen Anderegg, of Rockwell. The groom's parents are Norman and Sherry Veldhuizen, of Pleasant Hill.
The wedding site was decorated with hay bales, Mason jars with black or white beans, red candles tied with red and black bows, flowers and unity sand.

Musical selections included: "Canon in D" by Pachelbel, "Bridal Chorus" by Wagner, "I Cross My Heart" by George Strait, and "One Tonight" by Chris LeDoux.
The bride wore an ivory satin A-line gown with a cathedral train and a bodice with pearls and other crystals. The dress had a deep "V" in the front and back. She carried red roses with ivory lace and pearls throughout.
The matron of honor was Joleen Anderegg, of Rockwell. Bridesmaids were: Amanda Smith, of Stratford; Sara Anderson, of Ankeny; and Elizabeth Freeman, of Waterloo. They were red/apple sleeveless dresses with a deep "V" in the front and back, made out of jersey material. Their flowers were ivory roses with pearls.
The flower girl was Joleah Stuhr, of Blairsburg. She wore a red/apple sleeveless dress out of satin with an ivory sash and ivory bow in the back. She also wore an ivory headband and dropped red roses out of her flower girl basket.
The best man was Ryan Lee, of Des Moines. Groomsmen were: Chad Allen, of Runnels; Isaac Anderson, of Ankeny; and Brandon Osborn, of Roland. The ring bearer was Jamin Stuhr, of Blairsburg.
Brushers (brother ushers) included: Jeff Anderegg, Rice Lake, Wis.; Jeff Veldhuizen, Baxter; Brian Veldhuizen, Franklinton, N.C.; and Craig Veldhuizen, Runnells.
The reception was held at the Ed Prince Building at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. The hosts of the reception were Norman and Sherry Veldhuizen.
The couple will go on an Alaskan Cruise as a honeymoon trip.
The bride graduated from Loras College with a double major in secondary education and English literature. She has a masters of arts degree from Viterbo University. She is employed by Webster City High School as an English instructor and print media advisor.
The groom graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor of science degree in agricultural education. He is employed by Webster City High School as an agriculture instructor and FFA adviser.
