Relay For Life Adult Prom a good time for all

June 22, 2011
The Daily Freeman Journal

Dear Editor:

The pictures in the paper do not do justice to the FUN that was had at The Adult Prom held June 11, 2011 at the Moose Lodge. This FUNdraiser's first year did not have huge numbers as for as guests go, but the evening was filled with dancing, smiles, and good times.

As part of the entertainment committee for Relay For Life, I would like to thank the following: the Moose Lodge, who graciously donated the building. Kelly Hubbard moved tables, loaded tables, unloaded tables, and moved them some more. Paul Larson of C and E Printing donated Koozies for the Cause. Connie Wahlert let us use her vast collection of tropical decorations to help our Caribbean Cure them come to life. Holly and the Hamilton County Fairgrounds for the use of the round tables. These tables really brought elegance to our prom. Picture Perfect by Jessica Carr took pictures of our guests, to always remember their first Prom, as adults.

On behalf of committee members, Michelle Carpenter, Zona Graves, Joyce Brown and myself, we thank those who attended, and those who donated their time, talents, services and products. It is special people like you that helped Adult Prom 2011 come to life. We hope to see you next year, June 9, 2012 for YOUR adult prom. We are planning on even more good times for a GREAT cause.

Thanks again!
