Michele Anderegg and Kurt Veldhuizen, both of Blairsburg, announce their engagement.
The bride's parents are Jim and Joleen Anderegg, of Rockwell. The groom's parents are Norman and Sherry Veldhuizen, of Pleasant Hill.
The couple plan to marry on July 9, 2011, at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds.

Anderegg graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in English literature and secondary education from Loras College. She also graduated with a master of arts degree in secondary education from Viterbo University. She is employed as an English instructor and print media adviser at Webster City Community Schools.
Veldhuizen graduated with a bachelor of science degree in agriculture education from Iowa State University. He is employed as an agriculture instructor and FFA adviser at Webster City Community Schools.
