The Boone River Country Community Garden is off to a great start.
We want to thank Gary Chamness, Jeannette and Doug Walker, and Jim from Jim's Tree Service. They delivered and distributed the dirt and compost to fill the beds. Jim gets a special thank you, since (due to the weather) he was drafted on-the-spot to finish filling in the beds, which he did very willingly and very professionally.
Thank you to all those volunteers who planted a week ago. Come to the ACE Building and check out the garden (maybe even pull some weeds). If you wish to join us, just call Leslie at the ACE building.
