Rebecca Weieneth and Cody Barrett, of Waukee, were married on Aug. 7, 2010, at the First United Congregational Church of Christ, in Webster City. The Rev. Mark Gustafson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Bob and Sandi Weieneth, of Webster City. The groom is the son of Leslie Barrett, of Dallas, Texas, and Wayne Barrett, of Roanoke, Texas.
The wedding decorations consisted of green hydrangeas, pew ribbons, two candelabras draped in white tulle and garland, and three white roses in memory of loved ones. Wedding colors were green, silver and black.

The bride wore a V-neck halter, A-line dress with a full skirt and sweep train. There was hand beading and design with angled ruching at the waist. The dress was designed in Phoenix, Ariz. She carried white hydrangeas with miniature calla lilies and stephanotis flowers accented with pearl studs. The bouquet was wrapped in white tulle and satin on stems.
Maid of honor was Stacey Conaway, of Minneapolis, Minn., friend of bride. Bridesmaids were: Amanda Beda, of Gilbert, Ariz., friend of bride; Alisa Sleep, of Columbus, Ga., friend of bride; and Rachael Weieneth, of Waukee, sister-in-law of bride. Her personal attendant was Jessica Kastler, of Webster City.
The bridesmaids wore black halter cocktail dresses with wide black satin ribbons at the waist and a chiffon skirt.
Best man was David May, of Houston, Texas, friend of groom. Groomsmen were: Geoff Boyer, Baltimore, Md., friend of groom; Will Weieneth, of Clearwater, Fla., brother of bride; and A.J. Weieneth, of Waukee, brother of bride. Ushers were Armando Ramirez, of Miami, Fla., friend of bride, and Brian Deck, of Phoenix, Ariz., friend of groom.
Readers were Tristan Gandolfi, of Chicago, Ill., friend of couple, and Matthew Smith, of Des Moines, friend of bride. The pianist was Sarah Anderson, of Jewell.
The reception was held at Links Golf Course in Webster City.
The reception hosts were Dave and Liz Weieneth, of Des Moines, aunt and uncle of bride. Cake cutters were Kate Anderson, of Webster City, and Dawn Kesler, of Webster City, both cousins of the bride.
Grandparents attending were Paul and Violet Kliegl, of Stevens Point, Wis., and Verna Weieneth, of Webster City.
The bride's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Briggs Woods Park.
The honeymoon was deferred to later date, as the couple moved from Tempe, Ariz., to Waukee two weeks after the wedding.
The bride graduated with a bachelor of interdisciplinary studies in business communications from Arizona State University. She is currently an account executive at Access Systems in Waukee.
The groom graduated with a bachelor of science in geography from Arizona State University. He is a G.I.S. specialist for the city of Des Moines.
