Britney Robin Murphy and Howard Thomas John (T.J.) Clausen were married June 19, 2010, at the First United Methodist Church, in Jefferson. Reverend Bill Daylong officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Jack and Kim Murphy, of Jefferson. The groom is the son of Tom and Mary Clausen, of Webster City.

The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless ivory ball gown and carried a full bouquet of yellow and pink roses and gerbera daisies.

Matron of honor was Bridgett Allen and maid of honor was Brandi Murphy, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Emily Kellen, Jenny (Ireland) Mobley, Catie Moses, Rachel Schmidt, and Amanda Moses, cousins of the bride, and Beth Boyd, friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Tory Mount, cousin of the bride, and Stephanie Morlan, friend of the bride. Flower girls were Elizabeth and Paisley Allen, nieces of the bride.

Best man was Paul Clausen, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Chad Tate, Andrew Ulm, Jon Geis, Kenny Crouthamel, Jeff Strueker, Jackson Groves and Sam Lambert, friends of the groom. Junior groomsmen were Daric Whipple, cousin of the bride, and Dale Morlan, friend of the bride. Ring bearer was Cody Allen, nephew of the bride. The ushers were Ryan Murphy, brother of the bride; Bob Allen, brother-in-law of the bride; Andy Winters, cousin of the bride; John Koop, cousin of the groom; and Chris Preston, friend of the couple.

A reception was held at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Jefferson immediately following the ceremony.

The couple had a mini-moon in Storm Lake at Kings Pointe Resort and are going to Jamaica in January for their honeymoon.

The bride has her bachelor of arts in general studies from the University of Northern Iowa. She is currently employed by the Fort Dodge Community School District. The groom has his associates degree in agricultural business management from Hawkeye Community College. He is currently employed by New Feeds and is a farmer.

The couple resides on their farm in Duncombe.
