To the Editor:
The Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary held another very successful Election Day Luncheon fundraiser. A big Thank You goes to all the people who made this possible. We want to thank Fareway, HyVee, Webster City Federal Savings Bank, First American Bank, and First State Bank for their donations of food and other items needed for the luncheon. We also thank the Daily Freeman-Journal and KQWC who did an outstanding job of promoting and Asbury United Methodist Church for the use of their facilities.
We especially thank our auxiliary members who, as always, answered the call to furnish casseroles and salads, those who worked the day of the luncheon and those who helped in any way to prepare for our major fundraiser.
We would welcome anyone who would like to join the auxiliary. The dues are $10 a year. For information, call Wilma Nuehring, membership chair, at 832-3800.
A big thank you goes out to all who attended the luncheon. It certainly wouldn't be successful without you, the public. Our profits purchase special needs for the hospital and provide scholarships each year for students entering the health care fields.
