Background: I grew up in Williams. I lived in Minneapolis, Minn., for three years, moved back and went to La'James International College. I am married to John Hawkins, and we have seven children: Ashley, Craig, Peter, Simon, Michael, Olivia and Travis. We also have three grandchildren.
Why I do what I do: I love to create things, so to enhance someone's features is all a part of my enjoyment.
What makes my job unique: I can't say my job is unique - but having said that , it is my goal to that everyone leaves my salon feeling better when they walk out the door. Everyone is unique in looks, style and personality. Helping someone feel that way makes all the difference.
How I give back to my community: It has been some years since I was on a committee - but I help support the schools, and I want to see Webster City grow, prosper and change. Change is good, and Webster City is facing a large change.
My mentor was: My mom, and a quote: "Never esteem anything as of advantage to you that will make you break your word, or lose your self-respect."
