Young to seek re-election
Stanhope man currently serves as Hamilton Co. District 2 supervisorSTANHOPE - David Young, Hamilton County supervisor for District 2, has announced that he will seek re-election to that position.
The fourth-generation family farmer from Stanhope said as a supervisor, he would continue to bring common sense and a steady hand on spending issues
"We need to encourage more wind energy development in our county, Area economic development continues to be one of my goals," Young said. "The success that we have created in wind energy and ethanol production are leading to even more opportunities."
"As your county supervisor, I have tried to be thoughtful to every person who has contacted me with a concern," he said. "I have tried to respect the fact that every dollar I spend is someone else's tax dollars."
Young said he thanked the voters of southern Hamilton County for their past support.
"I ask for your vote to move forward with determination, optimism, thoughtfulness and respect in making Hamilton County a better place to live and work," he said.
