The Senior Thanksgiving potluck dinner held at Fuller Hall on Wednesday was quite a success.

Recreation Director Kent Harfst reported that about 80 people participated in the event.

City employees were hard at work planning and preparing the event for residents. Area businesses also provided for the dinner. Fareway prepared the turkey, while Hy-Vee cooked the stuffing and mashed potatoes. Guests brought a variety of side dishes to share with one another.

Before the meal, a prayer was given by the Webster City Church of Christ's new youth pastor, Matt Sprague. The meal also gave those attending a chance share some fellowship and enjoy an afternoon of bingo.
