Extension to host meeting on hail damage
Iowa State University Extension will be hosting a crop hail damage informational meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Monday in the Duncombe area.
Topics to be discussed include:
Crop Recovery Potential
Probable Crop Disease Development
Grain Quality Issues
Silage & Alternative Uses
Tillage & Cover Crop Seeding
Crop Insurance Options & S.U.R.E.
The meeting will be held one mile east of Duncombe on Highway 20, and south one mile on Brushy Creek Road at the junction with 250th Street.
Presenters will include: John Holmes, ISU Extension. Field Agronomist; Kelvin Leibold, ISU Extension Farm Management Specialist; and Russ Euken, ISU Extension Livestock Specialist
