Reward offered in burglaries
POSTED: July 2, 2009
The Webster City Police Department is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to arrest and conviction of the person or person involved in recent residential burglary.
Police Chief Mike McConnell said that there have been 22 reported residential burglaries in Webster City so far this year. These burglaries include home and car burglaries. It is believed that some burglaries are apart of a multi-state and/or multi-county burglary ring that steals expensive jewelry, said McConnell.
McConnell urges residents to make sure their cars and homes are locked.
To report any information about the burglaries, call McConnell at 515 832-9166.
